The Chili for Charity is an "anything goes" category designed especially for teams competing on behalf of their favorite charity. The competition will heat up as teams battle it out for bragging rights AND money.
Take a look at the Prizes - there’s a lot of moolah to be won by whipping up better Chili than the other charities in town. Plus you’ll be in the running for the Cecille Kallenberger’s Team Spirit, Best Booth, and the Grand Champion prizes.
Your Chili for Charity can be prepared ahead of time and brought to the Cookoff. But if you cook on site and follow the rules, you can also enter in any of the other categories too. The only category Charities don’t get to enter is Sharon Sawyer’s People’s Choice, but the prize for the best Chili for Charity is big enough to make up for that.
With more than 10,000 in attendance, the Wichita Wagonmasters' Downtown Chili Cookoff is a great opportunity to promote your charity and its mission.
